NYC City Hall Marriage | Pre-Nuptial Nuptials

The Friday before Memorial Day Weekend, just 8 days before their wedding, this duo snuck off to NYC City Hall to make it legal in what they call their "unofficial official marriage". With family and friends flying in from all over the country (and world!) for their wedding the following weekend, taking care of logistics beforehand allowed them to tailor their Big Day to their unique style: an intimate and incredibly personal occasion with the ceremony consisting of close family & friends sharing stories about and well wishes for the couple.

As for the pre-nuptial nuptials, this style savvy New York bride (aka: my cousin!) not only managed to bring a level of simple elegance to the day, but lent a nod to the aesthetic of her upcoming wedding as well. With a cream coloured Badgley Mischka "Sparkle in the Sky" Dress, blush roses from a local market, and pops of gold throughout, this hardly even begins to hint at the stunning details of their Wedding Day!

Dinner at West Village's Alta rounded off the celebration.
