Princeton New Jersey Engagement Photographer | Kyle + Brett

She was taking a visiting girlfriend out for a night on the town when they struck up a conversation with a group of guys across the bar. He was joining up with said group of guys shortly thereafter. Kyle recalls, with a smile on her face, her first thoughts the moment he walked in: "Who is this well dressed man?" The connection was instant with their conversation lasting long into the night and a first date at a little Italian restaurant in their now home of Lawrenceville soon to follow. Fast forward four years to July 2016, Kyle was wrapping up travels with her girlfriends at her family's vacation spot in Hilton Head, planning to meet up with Brett to jumpstart their annual 2 week roadtrip across the US of A. Little did she know, on that particular Thursday afternoon at a private spot on the beach, Brett would get down on one knee to propose their biggest adventure yet.

So, to document their love, it seemed only natural to start at the very spot it all began: Winberie's Restaurant & Bar in Princeton's Palmer Square. From there we ventured a couple minutes down the road to the historic Princeton Battlefield, where open fields and an Ionic Colonnade served as the perfect backdrop for their love of laughter and play. With a final stop for a leisurely pre-dusk stroll through a place that's close to their home and close to their hearts, a gentle breeze carried us through The Lawrenceville Hopewell Trail & Mercer Meadow's Pole Farm with more hugs and winks than one could count.
