Here's a great up and coming photo event I'm very excited to be involved in to jump start the spring season. I have worked with Baby Bites Brooklyn in the past, however this will be the first event that I have had the privilege of collaboratively creating with the Brooklyn founder of this budding group! And what a fantastic theme - turning the spotlight on those second children whose birth isn't nearly as documented as the first!

Second Time Moms Get Together, Brunch & Photo Shoot

If you are either pregnant with your 2nd child or have recently given birth to your 2nd child, have we got an event for you!

We are hosting a Second Time Moms Get Together, Brunch & Photo Shoot, where moms will have the opportunity to connect with other 2nd time moms, share advice and discuss many of the common concerns that arise when transitioning from 1 to 2, and enjoy a complimentary mini photo shoot with a professional photographer (after all, has anyone taken any shots of you pregnant with #2, or of you and your #2? didn’t think so….)

While our conversation takes place, Melissa Lahring of MLKL Photography will have a mini photo station set up in an adjacent room and one by one, each mom will have the opportunity to get a mini photo shoot of her and her baby, or baby alone, or for those of you who are expecting, of your beautiful baby bump. Isn’t it about time someone took a picture of you and/or your precious #2? We think yes!

Melissa’s BA in psychology and art along with her numerous years of experience in children’s art therapy and teaching contribute to her ease in interacting with children, newborns, and their families. As a photographer, Melissa possesses a creative eye to capture priceless moments and create beautiful images you will cherish forever.
