What can I Say? Katherine & Alex just have a way with infusing a truly classic occasion with the perfect amount of fun. Inspired by an understated "old New York" aesthetic, their aim was to invite guests into a space that lent itself to the comforts of home - and an exceptionally beautiful one at that. Starting at The London NYC with sweeping views of Central Park, their day continued in true urban-fashion at the "intimate" Harold Pratt House infused with personal touches throughout: an ultra-petit cake for the ceremonial cutting (accompanied by an ultra-not-so-petit dessert spread), a beautifully choreographed first dance waltz, surprise smashing of plates & impromptu money dance in honour of the bride's greek heritage and, one of my new personal favourites, an engraving of the bride's fingerprint inside the groom's wedding band. Overwhelmed by the blessings and love pouring in from family and friends during this exciting new chapter in their commitment to one another, Katherine & Alex's wedding day was nothing short of a truly heart-warming celebration.
If you can't quite get enough of this duo's playful elegance, be sure to take a peek at Katherine & Alex's Central Park & Plaza Hotel engagement photos.
